The Kennedy Center announced their 2018-19 theater season, and there are lots of wonderful offerings to choose from, including, some reprisals of great Broadway shows.
Broadway musicals slated for the 2018-19 season, include Anastasia, Miss Saigon, The Play That Goes Wrong, Hello, Dolly!, Falsettos, The Band’s Visit, the Disney’s hit Broadway musical, “Aladdin.” Aladdin, and Dear Evan Hansen.
Other highlights include Love, Factually, a holiday show from Chicago’s The Second City, inspired by characters and stories from the popular film Love, Actually, premiering December 5-31; NeoArctic, a collaboration between Denmark’s Hotel Pro Forma and the Latvia Radio Choir making its US premiere at the Terrance Theater February 13-16, 2019; and The Last Supper from Egyptian playwright-director Ahmed El Attar’s, which premieres March 14-16, 2019.
A new production of Evan Linder’s Byhalia, Mississippi comes to the Terrace Theater June 11-30. The theater will also have presentations of Little Shop of Horrors, The Music Man (starring Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis), and The Who’s Tommy.
