The 2017 DC Black History Film Festival will be held Sunday, February 26 at the Lincoln Theatre, in collaboration with the Mayor Muriel Bowser‘s Office of African American Affairs, actor Lamman Rucker, and Urban Film Review. The event takes place from 2 – 5 p.m.
This family-friendly film festival will share narratives from the African Diaspora and beyond. DC students who participated in the essay and film competitions will be announced and awarded cash prizes by local dignitaries. Short films will also be shown from local college students.
