The first round of performers for the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards® telecast has been announced and includes 10-time GRAMMY winner John Legend, eight-time GRAMMY-winning band Metallica, and seven-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Carrie Underwood with four-time GRAMMY winner and current two-time nominee Keith Urban.

Metallica’s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich are nominated for Best Rock Song (“Hardwired”). Underwood is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance (“Church Bells”).
Four-time GRAMMY winner Urban is up for Best Country Album (Ripcord) and Best Country Solo Performance (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”).
James Corden is set to host Music’s Biggest Night® for the first time when it taks place at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on CBS, Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
