Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson(D-FL) hosted My Brother’s Keepers (MBK)Town Hall during the Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus. The town hall took place Friday, Sept. 16 at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The event highlighted the success of President Barack Obama’s MBK initiative and hold panel discussions on the importance of male role models in communities of color. Actors Omari Hardwick (“Power”) and Malik Yoba served as toastmaster.
In the addition to Hardwick and Yoba, the town hall featured actors RonReaco Lee, Ray Santiago, Jessie Usher. Also lending their voices were Broderick Johnson from the White House, Bradley Neal, Washington Wizards, Al Sharpton and comedian Rickey Smiley.
